What an introduction into smoked tea and Lapsang Souchong. The quality of the smoke is evident immediately after opening the bag. Good brewed Western style, but gong fu helps draw out its hidden sweetness.

This tea was formerly called Smoked Lapsang Souchong.
The world-famous black tea with a smoky, hearty character. It is smoked in a traditional multi-layered structure built for this purpose. The fuel is knotty pine (including roots) for maximum resin content to give this tea a sharp hint of pine. An adventure for the uninitiated.
