Vintage Dragonwell | Green Tea
An intense specimen. Deep and hearty with pronounced texture. A small amount of leaf will bring forth a nutty, savory, full-bodied cup with a strong pulse.
Made on May 3, 2021, this lot of Long Jing (Dragonwell) comes from the Jiu Keng cultivar, which is propagated by seed and much older than the more common Long Jing #43. Dragonwell is characterized by its long flat leaves and intense nutty/earthiness rarely found in other green teas. It was grown using organic methods at 2,700 feet in Pan An county of central Zhejiang province.
