Quiet Creek Tieguanyin | Oolong Tea
Available online only.
Immaculate aromatics of fresh greens with sweet flowers. Light in body, but lively in mouthfeel. As graceful as a perfect circle. Exemplary of its style!
Harvested and produced October 2-3, 2021 by Mr. Huang Zhipen in Huaizhi village, Gande town of Anxi county, Fujian, China. It’s made from the exalted Tieguanyin cultivar, whose exact translation is “Iron Goddess of Mercy” and the loose pronunciation is “tee-uh-gwon-yin.” The tea gets its name from Guanyin, the Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion. This particular lot is an excellent specimen of the “green” style of Anxi oolong which tends to highlight fresh/floral characteristics.
