“High Mountain Wulongs” often have more sophisticated flavor profiles from the cooler, slower growing conditions at high altitudes. Nearly all teas with the title “High Mountain Wulong” (or Oolong) are made in this green, semi-ball style that is common in Taiwan. This tea was produced on 11/1/2020 from the Qingxin cultivar (translation: “green heart”) at 4,800 feet elevation in the Heping district of Taichung county, Taiwan.
