Butterfly | Green Tea
Ghostly and immaculate. The light-bodied cup is heavily textured, yet delicate as butterfly wings. Young zucchini and fresh hay in character, it finishes with a bright, ringing resonance in the mouthfeel. Subtle, but undoubtedly present.
Produced March 2024 by Mr. Li on Meng Ding Mountain, Ming Shan County, Sichuan Province. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick the local Chuan Cha #9 cultivar growing at approximately 2,900 feet. The Chinese name for this tea is “Gan Lu” which translates as “Sweet Dew.”
