Customer photo review of Black Jasmine | Black Tea

I've only quite recently been introduced to black jasmine tea, but it's rather quickly taken a hold in me deep within my little tea-loving heart as one of, if not quite possibly my top, most favorite tea of all time. This was my first time ordering from teasource, and I went big with a 2lb bag because this specific tea was already somewhat challenging to find, and I didn't want to risk running out of this tea should it, inevitably go out of stock at some point. I was not disappointed at all, and in fact, this black jasmine tea was EVEN BETTER than the original I had purchased elsewhere!! I've only had it for a feq days so far, and I may have to purchase another 2lb bag soon, because I've been sharing with friends and family, and everyone has absolutely loved it! So naturally, they all needed little baggies of their own to take home and now I'm already worrying about running out again lol... if you like tea, I'm fairly confident in saying you'll love this stuff, but you shouldn't buy any, because that would cause it to go out-of-stock faster, and it could be gone the next time I need to buy some more! Lol

After having this black jasmine, I don't think I'll ever drink green jasmine again!! It seems like jasmine is much better suited with black tea. I only wonder why it isn't as common as green jasmine for that reason. This is definitely one of my TeaSource favorites now, along with their top shelf Earl Grey!! (Highly recommended if you enjoy scented black teas)

I've loved some green Jasmine teas, but most are so unappealing. This, however, is the perfect combination of Jasmine and an excellent black tea. I highly recommend!

Absolutely love this! I fell in love with black jasmine after getting it in a sampler from another shop, but then they sold out! I eventually found this one on TeaSource. It's divine! These are high quality leaves!! I've been able to get 2 liters of delicious tea out of 10g of leaves (1 liter of hot tea, and then 1 liter cold brew with overnight steeping with the same leaves). So they go a long way! Cold brew with spent leaves is lighter and a bit more floral than the initial hot tea, but it's delicious and refreshing all the same. I will buy this as much as possible!

I LOVE this tea. I’ve always liked jasmine but the green tea doesn’t have enough caffeine for morning tea. This black tea is a perfect blend, all the flavor of jasmine with the caffeine of a black tea.

I was leary of buying a black tea jasmine. Black tea has too much caffeine for my body to handle .. jitters! This was such a pleasant surprise! It’s velvet smooth and jasmine scented, almost like vanilla. I really like it and use it often to unwind in the evening. I add a pinch of Minnesota Nice tea once in awhile for a truly delightful tea break.

Black Jasmine is one of my favorite teas. It is not at all astringent, which I appreciate. I love floral teas and black tea is by far my preferred type of tea. The black tea is mellow but not weak and totally harmonious with the fragrant jasmine. I remember when this tea was sold out, I tried another brand's Black Jasmine and it was so disappointing. This Black Jasmine is simply the best! I always have some in a tin at home. The flavor is exquisite.

I love jasmine green tea, but sometimes I don't want something that astringent. Jasmine black tea is the best of both worlds. I agree with the other reviewer..."Why hasn't this been done before?"

If you like jasmine green tea and you like black tea, you will love this black jasmine! It has the full flavor and scent of jasmine green tea, but you don't need to be careful about water temperature or steeping times. I have accidentally oversteeped this many times and it still results in a wonderful cup. You can get multiple steepings out of a single serving and you don't lose the jasmine flavor. A black jasmine tea is such a brilliant idea, I don't know why this hasn't been done before now.
