Earl Grey is traditionally a blend of Chinese black tea and oil of bergamot, derived from the bergamot orange native to southern Italy. This blend contains black teas from both China and Sri Lanka.

I really, really wanted to like this because I love Earl Grey, but it is oddly sour to me. Not bitter, I know what bitter tea tastes like, this has a sour smell and taste. I do not get a creamy taste or feel either.
Soooo amazing! Smooth and rich. Beautiful aroma. I would consider this my favorite comfort tea blend. My “just because” tea. I appreciate it any time of day.
I have been a big fan of Earl Grays for years. This one is smooth, creamy and not overly Bergamot flavored. It has a touch of sweetness so I don’t need to add a sweeter creamer, but rather an unsweetened vanilla nut creamer. It’s my version of a London Fog with a lot less calories! So if you are looking for a variation of Earl Gray, I recommend this one. If you are a traditionalist, then I recommend Earl Gray Silver Tip from Tea Source which is also very good!
I'm taste testing all four Earl Grey varieties. The creme is very sweet compared to the others, like a gourmandy fragrance. You need to like sweetness, and be reserved with adding sugar to not overdue it. It does easily make a "milk tea" when making the concentrate to cut through the milk, making an dessert beverage for fun, or ice it is better, but as a stand alone tea it is more cloying than refined. If you want Earl Grey, stick to the regular.
Reminds me of an earl grey for winter. You have the bergamot and a creamy licorice/anise flavor -- or at least that's what it tastes like to me. I've never been big on licorice, so this isn't one I'd purchase again.
I tend to make milk teas with my black tea and this is the best one to use! Definitely holds true to its name. Very floral but creamy taste. And i barely have to add any sweeteners. My go to morning drink!
*tip for milk tea: brew your black tea like normal but use only a third of the water you normally use. Then after the normal steeping time add warm milk or your non-dairy alternative. Filter like normal and enjoy with or without your choice of sweetener. (I use creamed honey!)
I did have hopes for this blend, since I like other versions of earl grey. However this blend has too much of a vanilla flavoring that overcomes the traditional earl grey formula. It's interesting, but not really something I will buy again. I'll stick to the Earl Grey White Tip or the original Earl Grey blend.
My favorite way to drink this tea is with warmed milk and honey. Smooth, vanilla, sweet flavors. Yummy!

Lovely tea variety. I wanted to try this creme twist Earl Grey wondering how it was creamy with only blk tea, bergamot, and calendula blossom. It did not disappoint- no milk or sweetener needed.
I love this tea for for it's unique twist on traditional earl grey. It's perfect for mornings; regular earl grey tea will often give me a stomach ache if I'd had nothing to eat yet, but this tea does not upset my stomach. The tea has more of a sweet, less-harsh, creamy flavor than the vibrant and powerful flavor of regular earl grey. It also doesn't have the same citrusy "pow" as traditional earl grey, so if that's something you want in a tea, I'd defintely stick with the traditional strain. Definitely try if you are an earl grey fan looking for a spin on a classic!
When I smelled this tea out of the bag, it did not do it justice at all. Once I put it in water, it smelled sweet with a hint of cinnamon. This tea has a strong flavor with an extra bit of sweetness. I absolutely love it, and I’m glad I purchased it. I would be happy just smelling it from my cup after steeping.
