Clouds & Mist Supreme | Green Tea
Available online only.
A fresh tea with good vital signs. The cup is crisp without biting and has a cucumber-like sweetness. A floral quality lingers like humidity in the air.
Clouds & Mist Supreme is back and better than ever! A yunwu tea produced at the end of March, 2021 from Meng Ding mountain in Sichuan province. Yunwu translates as “clouds and mist” signifying a high-grown tea, this one from approximately 3,100 feet. Many regions produce a tea with this title, but less frequently are they made from such young leaves as these and from such a fine pluck. The cloudy, mild climate of Meng Ding mountain produce teas that tend to have a savory, vegetal quality. This lot is from the Lao Chuan cultivar and has a cleaner/fresher character without sacrificing much of the brothy depth.
