Firefly | Oolong Tea
Through the magic of roasting, flavors and fragrances emerge like blinking lights in the woods on a summer night. The cup character of popcorn and fried rice is unexpectedly interesting and as satisfying as comfort food.
Harvested and produced April 25, 2025 in Ju Yuan Village, Anxi County, Fujian Province. It’s a one bud, three leaf pick of the Jin Guanyin cultivar growing at approximately 2,200 feet. It was roasted by our friend Mr. Soup on December 10, 2025.
Ingredients: oolong tea
Steeping Instruction
3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | Steep 3 min.
Traditional Steeping - Use 6 grams of tea in 150ml of boiling water:
- 10 sec – rinse
- 1st steep – 25 sec
- 2nd steep – 25 sec
- 3rd steep – 60 sec
- 4th steep – 3 min
