Harvested and produced April, 2025 by Ms. Zhao Yu Jie in Feng Shan Town, Fengqing County, Yunnan Province. It’s a one bud, one leaf pick of the Feng Qing Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 5,900 feet.
Western Steeping Method
Steep 4 grams of tea in 10–12 oz of 212°F (100°C) water for 5 minutes.
Traditional Steeping Method
Steep 6 grams of tea in a 150 ml Gaiwan with 212°F (100°C) water.
Rinse: 10 seconds — discard
1st steep: 25 seconds
2nd steep: 20 seconds
3rd steep: 50 seconds
4th steep: 1 minutes, 45 seconds
5th steep: 3 minutes, 30 seconds

Omg...I am shocked at how awesome this tea is! The pic isn't great because I drank it like a wildwoman after the first sip! It's smooth, flavorful, needs zero additions (I often do honey or cream in my dark teas ... this is perfect as is) and I am in love! New favorite
I can't put into words how beautiful this tea smells & tastes. I was shocked the first time & continue to be deeply impressed. I hope to have it as a staple in my home from now on.
As a longtime Yunnan tea lover, I'm always trying new varieties of this type of tea. I would describe Dune buggy as a 'light' Yunnan tea. It is a good tea, but lacks the deeper flavors of hay, molasses and tobacco of a higher quality Yunnan. It definitely has a cocoa- like quality to it as others have described. For a deeper and more flavorful cup, golden it guilded needle is a better choice.
I used to really love Yunnan teas, but they had somewhat fallen out of favor with me these past few years. I still liked them, but I had other teas I preferred. Well, this tea is in my top five currently and I am in love with it! I am having a Yunnan revival! It is very smooth, but hearty. It isn't too heavy, though. It's just right for a delicious plain cup, no additives, which is how I prefer tea best. I think the description of this tea is very accurate. I am definitely going to buy a pound!
Most times, when a description says a tea tastes like A, B, and C, I don't pick up any of the specific flavors. With this tea, the cocoa flavor was right there, front and center! It wasn't overpowering (as in "did I just make a cup of cocoa instead of tea?"), but it was definitely clear and present. Can't tell you anything about caramel, hay, or raspberry, but if you like a whimsical cup with a dash of your favorite dessert (assuming you're like me and all your favorite desserts are chocolate), I recommend trying this tea.
I took a chance on this one from the description and I couldn't be happier with that choice. It matched the description to a "tea". (See what I did there? I crack myself up.) Lovely scent, good mouth feel and a wonderful rich but smooth taste. I didn't get any "hay" or the raspberry finish and I'm not sorry about that. A most satisfying cup of tea! You won't be sorry if you take a chance on this one.
