Steep 3 grams of tea in 10–12 oz of 212°F (100°C) water for 4 minutes.

Definitely has a malt flavor to it. Has an astringency as you sip it, but it dissipates after you swallow. It tastes good on its own, but the flavor is bold enough that it could be prepared with other ingredients. I steeped in a gaiwan at 207 Fahrenheit for a little over 3 minutes. Very yum
This tea has brightness. It tastes like sunlight feels on a cold day. It’s wonderful. It’s up there with my top 3. I use a heaping teaspoon for 20 ounces of boiling water in my teapot. Steep for 4 minutes before pouring my 1st cup. I don’t add milk. I like the clarity.
