Cloak of Night | Ripe (Shu) Puer Tea
The body and mouthfeel of this tea are as smooth as the saxophone on a noir film soundtrack. Its inherent earthiness is transformed into a dark chocolate character that is complicated by mossy and nutty impulses. A richness like this is rarely on offer.
Originally harvested and produced on April 10, 2021 by Ms. Tang Meihong on Jingmai Mountain, Lancang County, Yunnan Province. Post fermentation was completed October 20, 2021. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 4,500 feet.
