I received a sample of this tea from a friend. It was so good! I was not expecting it to taste like chocolate! It was so rich and smooth and had an incredible depth of flavor. I will definitely have to order some of this! I really liked it!

Harvested and produced May 15, 2025 by Ms. Peng Da Jie in Guzhang County, Hunan Province. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick of the Zhu Ye Qi cultivar growing at approximately 2,900 feet. The curled leaf style borrows from the shaping technique of Bi Luo Chun (a famous green tea) and helps deliver a lighter, sweeter cup.
Western Steeping Method
Steep 4 grams of tea in 10–12 oz of 212°F (100°C) water for 4 minutes.
Traditional Steeping Method
Steep 6 grams of tea in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot with 212°F (100°C) water for the following times.
Rinse: 5 seconds – discard (optional)
1st steep: 30 seconds
Additional steeps as the leaves allow.
