Great tea, love it! Will it EVER be in stock again. It has been "sold out" for many, many months.

Sweet, clean aromatics and a light, gentle cup. The green bean and edamame character is less grassy than expected. The feather soft finish has a smooth, faintly nutty quality. Well-made and well-balanced.
Produced spring of 2026. “Shincha” means “New Tea” and is the first tea made from the plants after winter dormancy. It’s made by Mr. Tofuku using the Okumidori cultivar growing in the high hills just north of Kagoshima City, where the active Mt. Sakura-jima rains volcanic ash and fertilizes the fields. “88th Night” refers to 88 days after the first day of spring in the lunar calendar and is an auspicious day for the harvest of Shincha.
