Dobin is a larger style of Japanese teapot. It is characterized by a handle on top to prevent heat transfer and comes with a removable stainless steel infuser and lid. The handle is made of a vinyl material. Dobin teapots are traditionally used to steeped teas served in group settings, like Hojicha or Genmaicha. Check out the matching Polka Dot Teacup!

This teapot is Arita porcelain, the oldest porcelain production area in Japan located in Saga Prefecture. The colorful designs and white porcelain have influenced the porcelain industry worldwide, particularly in Europe.

Capacity: 16 oz

Teapot dimensions: 6"L (including spout) x 4.5"H, 2" diameter at opening

Infuser dimensions: 2.25" diameter, 2"H

Some assembly required: The handle does not come attached to the teapot inside the box. It is very simple to attach by bending the wire on both ends of the handle, inserting them into the holes on top of the teapot, and pressing the wires up to secure the handle to the teapot.
