So, I didn’t think I liked Sheng puer, Until I tried this one and my life of drinking Shu exclusively for 10 years was completely rocked. It was so stone fruity, and juicy with such a mild astringency that it enhanced the experience and didn’t over whelm it. I loved this so much I had to buy another to age so I could drink this one to my heart’s content. This Sheng changed me so much I’m buying several others from tea source in hopes it wasn’t a fluke.

When properly tamed, this lush and formidable tea has a graceful charm. Aromatics of fermented fruit and juniper show up in each cup and the mouthfeel lurks long afterwards. Stronger steeps unleash more of its power, if you choose.
Harvested and produced on March 15, 2015 and pressed on May 20, 2015 by Mr. Ye Sheng in Xiao Hu Sai Village, Lincang City, Yunnan, China. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 5,900 feet.
