Very good quality small teapot. I have different teapots based on how much tea I want (2 - 4 cups) and this teapot is great for 2 small cups. It keeps the tea hot for a long time because of the stoneware and properly-fitting lid. The mesh strainer reaches ALL the way to the bottom (maybe a quarter inch clearance) which means that when the pot is filled completely with water, there is enough room for all of the tea leaves to be covered and steeped completely. This is usually a problem with other mesh inserts that only reach halfway down the teapot, so I was glad that this teapot is designed much better.
