This isn’t a typical cup of tea, and if you enjoy it, it’s absolute heaven. The addition of mint, licorice, and clove make this a cousin to an herbal tisane. Sometimes I add nettle or lemon balm to this and drink it as my evening cup. It’s both grounding and refreshing at the same time. A forever favorite!

The cooling effects of peppermint and clove held aloft by the earthy body of ripe puer. Simple and smooth, yet quietly vivid.
All ripe puer comes from the Xishuangbanna region of southern Yunnan Province, China. It starts out as raw puer, but then goes through a final step of “pile fermentation” where they pile it up, apply moisture, and cover it for a period of time to achieve microbiological change. The result is intensely earthy and smooth.
