It's fine, the breakfast assam is a better breakfast tea for the money, imo.

Irish Breakfast | Black Tea

My family is from Emerald Isle and I tried this today for the first time! All I could say was yes! This tea with little cream took me right there around the table with breakfast or biscuits. Buy it!

This is better than the English Breakfast, but not as good Empire Keemun, just go buy that!

Not sure if the formula changed or if I got a bad batch but this tea just wasn't the same on my last order. I noticed the steep time has changed but didn't think much of it until I made a cup. Used to be my go to bold tea for mix ins. I loved how rich it tasted with a little bit of brown sugar and splash of milk. Now it's just very acidic, tasting more like over steeped tea than bold tea.

I really enjoyed this blend once before, and now I'm sorry I ordered just a quarter-pound on this occasion. Of the many blends that go by the name Irish Breakfast, this one is the finest I have drunk. I can even imagine that its sweet flavor would not suffer if mixed with an agreeable single-source Assam.

A robust morning cup. No delicate florals. More of a bracing "builder's tea." We drink it with milk.

Beautiful full-bodied tea that doesn't easily become bitter. I drink 2-3 cups of this tea daily - no milk or sugar. It's simply my favorite black tea!

Irish Breakfast | Black Tea

Irish Breakfast is my go-to tea in the morning, especially on cold winter days when I need something robust to wake me up and keep me functioning. Highly recommended!

Irish Breakfast | Black Tea

Definitely not my cup of tea. This is a very dull, flat, slightly sour and acrid tasting tea. There is no brightness, only austerity here. I've had 4 cups so far and have not enjoyed them at all. Cheap enough to give it a try. YMMV.
