Steeping Instructions

Western Steeping Method

Steep 4 grams of tea in 10–12 oz of 212°F (100°C) water for 5 minutes.

Iced Tea Instructions

Steep 4 grams of tea in 10-12 oz of 212°F (100°C) water for 3 minutes.
Pour over a heaping glass of ice and enjoy!

The BEST tea! Chocolate and mint in a perfect blend! Ordered 3lbs so far bc its my everyday tea and it never gets old! I find i loke it best with a splash of milk and sometimes a bit of honey. Absolutely love!

This was worth a try as we're into black tea, peppermint, and chocolate, but we didn't like it enough that we'll be ordering another bag. Admittedly we haven't tried it iced yet, but as a hot tea my wife and I both found it missing something we couldn't quite put our finger on.

I have a lot of tea that I love but the Grasshopper is a favorite. It’s comforting to wrap my hands around a hot mug of this tea on a cold day & sip the deeply rich & subtle flavors of black tea, chocolate & mint. I put a splash of cream in mine with a small amount of Sucanant for subtle sweetness & it’s like drinking desert. I look forward to trying it iced. Thank you for this lovely blend!

Chocolate & mint is a great flavor combo but I always feel like the mint-chocolate teas I’ve tried have felt sickly sweet; this one’s a perfect balance, to the point where it makes a great desert but I also sometimes just make it as my first cup of tea in the morning! The fun bag art is a nice touch, too! Definitely recommended!

Grasshopper, in my opinion, is a really good second day tea. I usually make a full pot of tea and drink half day one and save the second half for day two, leaving the leaves steep for almost 24 hours. The longer steep really brings out the peppermint and amps the overall flavor. I prefer to ice my 2nd day tea and the cooler temp make this Grasshopper exceptionally refreshing & smooth. Of my pantry picks right now, this tea is not at the top of my list, but as a stand alone choice, it's solid.

This tea is really a treat. The refreshing peppermint and the velvety chocolate pair so nicely with steamed almond or coconut milk-- it's reminiscent of a Starbucks Mocha Peppermint Latte without the aftertaste or stomach ache. I expected to like this, but am surprised by how much I love it.
