Produced September 3, 2022 by Mr. Yan Yi Sao in Jing Mai Mountain, Yunnan, China. It’s a 1 bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at approximately 5,900 feet. For more killer tea from Mr. Yan, check out Gold Horse Deer.

Western Steeping Method
Steep 4 grams of tea in 10–12 oz of 195°F (91°C) water for 4 minutes.
Traditional Steeping Method
Steep 4 grams of tea in a 150 ml Gaiwan with 212°F (100°C) water for the following times.
Rinse: 10 seconds — discard
1st steep: 15 seconds
2nd steep: 10 seconds
3rd steep: 20 seconds
4th steep: 40 seconds
5th steep: 90 seconds
6th steep: 3 minutes

Definitely a high tea energy with this one! I put a little more than I meant into my gaiwan, and boy was my mouth struck with the power!! A very invigorating raw tea, that I can tell will age very nicely. It does have that barely ripe apricot undertone with a nice piny taste. This tea was enjoyable, and very powerful for anyone searching for such a raw puer.
Really great raw puer tea cake at a great price. Went through multiple steeps and the flavors evolved so well , making every sip worth tasting. What really makes me happy is, this tea is a fine quality tea at a great price. I'll definitely be ordering more from Tea Source.
