Japanese Cherry Wood Smoke | Black Tea
products.product.pickup_availability.unavailable
The luxuriously full-bodied liquor has the texture of melting ice. The aromatics of hot embers quickly give way to sugary sweet cherries. The smoke in the cup is subtle and tasteful. The ripe fruit character rises only after a moment has passed to tempt you to come back for more.
Produced summer of 2025 from the Yabukita cultivar by Mr. Matsumoto in Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is smoked in small batches using the chipped wood of whisky barrels made from Sakura trees (Japan’s famous cherry blossom tree) used by a local distillery.
