I would agree with Bruce here, pretty disappointed by this Keemun. It is just flat. I thought that since it was more expensive than the Empire it would be better. Nope, I'll try the king Keemun in the future, but I just bought 12oz of empire (It's amazing) that should get me through 2025.

Grand Keemun | Black Tea

I love a good Keemun tea, especially if it's a good quality Hao Ya "A" class. But that is hard to find now days. So I settled for this one. I found it dissappointing as it didn't have any of the uniqueness that a good Keemun has, that oaky-piney-smokey tasting notes. Perhaps I should not expect that from this Keemun but for me this is just a non-exciting china tea. It's not my go-to Keemun.

I drink at least one cup of this tea a day (usually with a tiny splash of half and half). It is wonderful plain (my preferred way of drinking tea), but some teas are really quite delicious with a bit of cream and this is one of them. I think this tea is an excellent value and I always keep some on hand.

Okay - I agree this is a great tea that's part of my normal "weekly rotation." Thankfully, not as expensive as the super-high grade malty/cocoa teas, (which I buy sparingly) but great for normal drinking when a cocoa fix is in the mix. Please keep this one around!

Keemun and Assam are my favorite morning teas. Assam with milk, but Keemun all on it's own. Beautiful, full flavor.
