Produced April 20, 2025 by Mr. Fu Hao Zhe in Baojing County, Hunan Province. This tea is a one bud, three leaf pick of the Huang Jing cultivar growing at approximately 3,200 feet.

Four Seasons | Green Tea

I love this tea because it's really strong and I feel amazing mental effects from it. At first I found it to be too astringent, but I have adjusted my taste buds and now I crave that taste because I associate it with feeling so darn good!! My tip: Brewing at a lower temperature and making sure you're not brewing it too strong can reduce the pungency. It's also a great value.

Four Seasons | Green Tea

I'm not sure why the description says it resists astringency, because when I first brewed this at 180 it was nearly undrinkable because it was so bitter! It also says to brew this at 195, which doesn't make sense either, considering it's such a grassy, fresh green tea. Once I brewed this at a much lower temperature, around 165, it tasted much better!! One thing I cannot deny, no matter how it was brewed, is how absolutely amazing this tea makes me feel. I've been drinking various good quality loose leaf green teas for well over a decade, and this particular tea makes me feel noticeably buzzed and relaxed to a much greater degree. I am so glad I found this tea!! And keep in mind that if the tea doesn't taste right, make sure you try brewing it at different temperatures and strengths!! This often makes a very big difference.

Four Seasons | Green Tea

This was my very first order and experience with loose leaf green teas and I decided on Teasource as my provider based on reviews of their store and hours of research on specific green teas. I made an order of two other green teas(Green mango and Jasmine blue snow), which are absolutely amazing , but my first dip, steep, and sip of Mao Jian tea made me immediately become somewhat of a snobby tea connoisseur in my first sitting. I see the light!! Being new to loose leaf tea; I’m probably not experienced enough to be able to give a proper smell/taste profile but I’ll try. After brewing , the aroma is pleasantly sweet with a subtle floral earthy smell in the background. The taste is slightly sweet, floral and with a hint of a light nutty undertone. All of these combined pulls it all together into one amazing cup of tea. I loved this tea so much that I immediately placed an order for 1 pound of their Mao Jian tea. If you want to get your feet wet with loose leaf green teas , I highly suggest you make this one a priority on your list. Namastea!

Simply put, TeaSource Green Tea... is always a mild brew. Somehow bright, especially cold brew. This tea introduced me to 'combinations'. It is the fundamental building block for any Teetotaler... combination is the gift gained, your work enhanced by circumspect concentration. Good health remaining from the pound we bought in Winter. It takes a good green tea, mildly pleasing uplift, bordering on recreational.
