Longjing (“Dragonwell”) originates from the West Lake area of Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, China. Its signature flat leaves are pan-fired by hand in a wok to arrest oxidation and keep the leaf green. Though wide-ranging in outcomes, this technique tends to produce green tea that is strong with a bold, fire-like taste many find appealing.

decent tea. nothing fancy but has a nice flavor. if you're spoiled like me it might be underwhelming but it's definitely a nice everyday green for the commonfolk

Dragonwell | Green Tea

Dragonwell is a rough and ready green tea. It isn't fancy. What it lacks in style is made up for in strength. It carried me into a good tea habits. It was my first tea. I drank Dragonwell for a couple of years exclusively. Good health and my sensitive stomach got used to this potent and medicinal tea. Its interesting to consider its China's favorite tea. Tells the story of the people of China with every sip. I love Dragonwell for that reason alone. Let alone it is a very healthy way to go.
