An ambient, aromatic blend of peppermint, licorice root, and clove. Warm, quelling, and caffeine-free.
Margaret’s Soother is a peppermint-based herbal blend. Peppermint is a hybrid of spearmint and watermint and is native to Europe and the Middle East, though it is now cultivated worldwide. The peppermint in this blend is grown in the U.S. and is particularly sweet and pungent without getting acrid or bitter.

When I first tasted this, I thought "this is nothing but peppermint," but there is indeed a slight licorice and clove aftertaste, which provides a really nice balance overall. I still consider this to taste 90% peppermint, though, so this is more like peppermint tea with a blunted edge. Nevertheless it is very enjoyable when you are in the mood for it.
My favorite evening tea. Perfect when you feel good, even better when you are under the weather. Most mint teas are too strong so I love the addition of licorice. It must always be in the house, in the cabin, in the RV.
I'm addicted to this tea! Smells and tastes like a traditional peppermint tea, but has a lightly sweet aftertaste from the licorice. Perfect combination for an all-day sipper.
I ordered this on a whim since I like both peppermint and licorice. This is a lovely tea. I especially enjoy it in the evening, with a bit of honey, while I watch lectures on Zoom.
I’ve had other peppermint and licorice blends, and the licorice overpowers and makes it a bit too sweet. I really like the ratio of this one—it’s mint forward and the licorice definitely comes through but not too much. Nice relaxing night time tea!
This is my go-to tea all times of year, as we are a singing family so this is a perfect herbal tea to keep us hydrated and healthy. My son would drink this by the gallon if I let him! We like this blend hot and cold. We add fresh mint and raspberries or blackberries in the summer to it iced!
Margaret’s Soother is just such a lovely herbal for any time of the year- I always go to it when I’m feeling a little under the weather, whether it’s physically or mentally.
The balance of this tea is just perfect.
