The steeped leaf has the pleasant aromatics of a Sri Lankan tea factory in action. Full-bodied, full mouthfeel with cooling spices and a dry fruit finish. No milk and sugar necessary, but would cooperate nicely, if desired. This is the real deal.

This BOP leaf style tea was produced February 27-March 3, 2026 by Mr. J. Jesudasan at the Nayabedda Estate in the Uva region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf, one bud pick of the Nayabedda 3 (NB3) cultivar growing at 4,700 feet.

3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 2 min.
