Taiwan Treehouse | Oolong Tea
Classic Taiwan “High Mountain.” Buttery in the aroma and mouthfeel. Stocky greens in the cup with a passable impression of nutmeg at the end.
Produced on May 2-3, 2022 by Mr. Qiu Chenpu. It’s made from the Qinxin cultivar growing in the Heping district of Taichung, Taiwan.
Ingredients: oolong tea
Steeping Instructions
5 grams | 10-12 oz water | 195°F | Steep 4 min.
Traditional Steeping: Use 6 grams of tea and steep with boiling water in a 150ml gaiwan.
- 10 second rinse
- 1st steep – 25 seconds
- 2nd steep – 20 seconds
- 3rd steep – 40 seconds
- 4th steep – 2 minutes
