India makes more tea than any other country (except China); and the range of Indian teas, flavor, strength, appearance, and leaf style is vast. Bill Waddington recently returned from a tea pilgrimage to north and east India: sourcing teas, visiting tea gardens, and learning about tea. This workshop allows you to come along with Bill as he recounts his recent trip. You will taste a range of Indian teas as you follow Bill's itinerary: visiting Indian tea gardens, tea auctions, tea brokers, and local villages. It'll almost be like visiting Darjeeling without the long plane ride.
Class cost: $15/person
