Sencha Yama | Green Tea
The “classic” Japanese sencha – the aroma of cooked veggies and the body of thick chicken broth. Balances grassy, umami, and bitter on a knife’s edge.
Produced in April 2021, this is a blend of four different teas from Miyazaki prefecture. “Yama” means “mountain” and the tea was grown at 650-1,000 feet. The Otsuka Green Tea Co. is a family-owned tea company that was founded in 1869 in Shizuoka, Japan. Their tea factory is located near the Nissaka area of Shizuoka, not far from Mt. Fuji.
