Rock Oolong Tea
Description: These dark hand-twisted leaves produce an aromatic cup that is medium-bodied and has sweet, mineral, dark fruit notes with a little of a fiery/toasty note at the finish.
This tea was made by Mr. Tang Shuang Jiang who lives in Fujian, China. Rock Oolong (which is synonymous with Big Red Robe or “Da Hong Pao”) is the signature tea of the Wuyi mountains in the Fujian province of China. It’s defining features are long, dark, twisted leaves that have been oxidized and baked at moderate levels. The flavors range widely from toasty and spicy to citrus and sweet.
