Pine Needle Green Tea
Two-tone leaves, a wildflower aroma, and many good steepings. A "needle” style tea that creates sharp images of spring greens with a subtle pine-like vitality.
Mr. Liu Zhi Jing has been making tea in Anhua county for more than 50 years. He focuses on high-quality, small-quantity teas like this, the process of which is long and can take well into the middle of the night to prevent the fresh leaves from deteriorating. Anhua Pine Needle tea was once a tribute tea to the emperors and ministers and is listed as one of the “Top 10 Famous Teas of Hunan Province.” This tea was produced on March 20, 2021 from one young bud and leaf from the Bi Xiang Zao cultivar growing at over 4,000 feet.
