This handmade semi-ball oolong from central Taiwan is softly aromatic. The cup is a soft, pale yellow but has surprising body with pronounced floral, sweet, creamy notes. That silky creaminess holds on through a long, lingering finish.
This hand-plucked tea is made by Mr. Qui Chen Pu in the Heping District of Taichung, Taiwan. It is produced from the Qing Xin cultivar at approximately 1600' elevation.
Suggested Steeping Instruction:
Use 1 rounded tsp (3-4 grams) per 8 oz of water. Steep with 8 oz water at 200° for 2-4 min. Good for multiple steepings.
