Earl Grey, House | Black Tea
Free Gift

This classic British tea is full-bodied, smooth, and silky with just a hint of sweet/floral/citrusy notes in the background. Absolutely delicious and very, very British.

In recent years, Jean Luc Picard made Earl Grey tea famous in Star Trek: The Next Generation, but the various origin legends of Earl Grey date back to the 1830's. Supposedly, this tea was a gift to a British lord from Chinese mandarins—except that bergamot didn't exist in China at the time. Bergamot is a citrus fruit native to Mediterranean countries with a wonderful aroma but a bitter taste.

Suggested Steeping Instruction:

Use 1 rounded tsp per 8 oz cup boiling water. Steep 2-4 min.

Ingredients:

Chinese black tea, flavor
