Bai Mu Dan | White Tea
This tea produces a unique, medium-bodied, very complex cup; with hints of stone fruit, and notes of a slight mineral-spiciness that balance the overall sweetness of the cup. Wonderful and intriguing.
This tea is made by Mr. Lin Kai Sheng in Fuding, Fujian Province. Mr. Sheng grew up in a tea family and learned the art from his father, but decided to become a teacher because the need in his village was so great. But hand-making tea is still his passion. This tea is made from a rare local cultivar, contributing to its very unique flavor profile.
Suggested Steeping Instruction:
Use heaping tsp per 8 oz. of 160°-180° water. Steep 2-4 min.
