Ti Kwan Yin | Oolong Tea
This semi-ball style oolong produces a delicate, green, floral, sweet cup. There is a slight mineral note that beautifully balances the sweetness.
Ti Kwan Yin oolong tea is named for the Chinese Buddhist goddess Kwan Yin, who according to legend, made a gift of this tea to a poor farmer in the Anxi region of Fujian. The farmer went to great trouble and hardship to take care of Kwan Yin's temple and restore it to a place of beauty and worship. This tea was a gift for his faithfulness.
