Description: A spring tea with an old soul. Sweet vanilla and apricot flavors evolve into bone-deep, wild florals with each steeping. A cup with a long memory.

Harvested on April 20, 2019, this tea was made by Mr. Yang Xiu Hai. The tea leaves came from Zhang Lang village near Ba Da Mountain in Menghai, Yunnan. “Zhang” means elephant and “Lang” means frozen. Ba Da (Fairy Footprints) Mountain is one of the six famous mountains for puer and actually looks like an elephant. Many old tea trees from the Da Li cultivar grow in this region. This particular tea was harvested from new tea plants that were planted in an area alongside older trees (50-70 years old) at an altitude of about 1200m. This mountain was also home to a tea king (aka tea tree) that lived to be over 1,800 years old, but died in 2012.
