The Okayti Garden is located in the Mirik Valley at an altitudes ranging from 5,000-7,000 ft. Locally known as Rangdoo, it borders the Mechi River on the west, which divides India and Nepal. The original Okayti factory was built in 1888 (which still stands today), but they recently added a new factory with upgraded technology. The natural beauty of its surrounding, with waterfalls, tall pine trees and the magnificent backdrop of the Himalayas, makes it one of the prettiest tea gardens in the world.
