Hu Hong Mao Feng | Black Tea
This black Hunan tea has long, slender, wiry leaves with lots of golden tip and produces a cup of black tea that is full-bodied, very aromatic, dark, and complex with sweet molasses/black licorice/spicy notes. This black tea fills your mouth with deep, dark flavor and lingers long afterwards.
TeaSource Hu Hong Mao Feng black tea is handmade from Cili county near Changde City, Hunan province, China. This tea was made by Mr. Wen Bing Rao, a well respected tea farmer who has been making these types of Hunan black teas for more than 40 years.
Suggested Steeping Instructions:
Use 1 heaping tsp per 8 oz. boiling water. Steep 3-5 min.
