Darjeeling

Darjeelings are known as the Champagne of teas and are prized for their fresh taste and delicate nuances of flavor with some astringency. 1st flush refers to the first picking of the year, 2nd flush refers to the second picking, and autumnal refers to the last picking of the year.

This is a classic 1st flush Darjeeling black tea. It has more body than many first flushes and achieves a great balance between briskness, a slight fruitiness (muscatel), and a lingering sweet tart note in the aftertaste.
